York University Psychology Clinic (YUPC)

YUPC is a new, state-of-the art community mental health and training centre associated with the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Health at York University. The clinic provides a range of leading edge, effective mental health services to keep people of all ages living healthy, productive lives. Young and Healthy

An interactive site for adolescents about adolescent health. Provides facts, answers FAQs, and deals with sensitive topics. A comprehensive, interesting, and easy-to-navigate site. http://www.youngandhealthy.ca/caah/

YoungMinds

YoungMinds is a national charity (in the United Kingdom) that is committed to improving the mental health of all children and young people. They do this through giving advice, training, campaigning and distributing publications. Their website has a section for children, young people, and for parents. http://www.youngminds.org.uk/

Youth Justice Ontario

An association that advocates for youth at risk by providing them with a voice and a safety net. It represents over 50 Ontario agencies that provide services to young people involved in the youth justice system. http://www.youthjusticeontario.ca/

Youth Net / Reseau Ado Ottawa

A bilingual, regional, mental health promotion and intervention program run by youth, for youth. Reaches out and helps youth develop and maintain good mental health, as well as healthy coping strategies for dealing with stress. http://www.youthnet.on.ca/

YouthPath

A comprehensive job search program for youth, providing many ways to search for jobs, listed by interest, category, and location. Provides career advice, resumé and cover letter writing tips, and a place to post resumés. http://www.youth.gc.ca/

YouThrive

YouThrive is a practical resource that was developed in a partnership involving Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario (CMHA Ontario), Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Ontario Lung Association (OLA) and Ophea. It is for leaders in communities and schools across Ontario who work with youth aged 12 to 19. It is designed for people who want to create communities in which young people can thrive and develop capacity to realize their own abilities, make a contribution to society and learn how to take control of their own lives. It shows how using a health promotion approach supports positive mental health and prevents risk-taking behaviour among young people. http://youthrive.ca
