Position Description

The job incumbent will develop instruments, collect and analyse program data, involving the students, parents, teachers, mentors, tutors and administrators of the Pathways program in the Scarborough Village community. This position will work closely with National colleagues and share data with Pathways to Education Canada staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Three years progressive experience in applied research in social services or education
  • Ability to use data to identify improvement to program effectiveness, in collaboration with other team members
  • Ability to manage complex data sets and communicate such material in an accessible manner to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to utilize SPSS software for data set analysis is crucial.
  • Ability to work with diverse, marginalized populations within an urban setting
  • Knowledge of community development and/or youth programming
  • Ability to work across teams, in a timely and thorough manner

 

EDUCATION:

 

 

  • Graduate or post-graduate level of education in a social services related discipline such as health, education, sociology or social work
