Position Description
Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca is seeking a Data Analysis Coordinator for continuous quality improvement, decision support, and program evaluation. The successful candidate will compile and prepare reports; engage in data analysis to identify trends, patterns and service gaps; develop databases for capturing and managing program- and/or agency-level data; and advise and support the development of effective tracking mechanisms and evaluation tools to measure the impact of agency activities and programs, including the Early Years and Autism Programs, and the North Community Network of Specialized Care. This position will be an integral role of the Hands Quality, Research, & Evaluation (QRE) team, and will report directly to the Sr. Manager, QRE. The position will be situated in either the agency’s Parry Sound or Bracebridge site.
Qualifications (e.g., skills, experience, degrees, certifications, etc.)
- Masters-level education that includes courses on quantitative and qualitative research and statistics; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience in desktop and/or server databases and other information management or analytics software (SPSS or SAS essential; CIMS and FileMaker a definite asset)
- Demonstrated experience in data collection, data analysis, survey development, and research/evaluation
- Well developed communication, written and presentation skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and experience working with diverse groups
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities and mental health issues an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to use word processing, data processing, management and analysis software, e mail and web-based software
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License, and availability of a motor vehicle required
